Account / Subscription

Account & Subscriptions

From creating an account and retrieving a subscription to updating settings and switching devices.

What do I need to create a VPNPT account?

No email address is required. Choose a username and password to create your account. Keep your username somewhere safe—you'll need these credentials to access the user panel, view plans and retrieve your subscription. If you forget your password, check the login page for available recovery options. For account issues you can't resolve yourself, submit a support ticket from the user panel.

Where can I find my subscription link after activation?

Sign in to the user panel and look for your active subscription in the account overview or subscription section. Then import it using the method supported by your client. Your subscription link is private account information, so avoid posting it in public chats or on websites. If no subscription is available, check your plan status, then describe the issue through the support ticket option in the panel.

How do I update the subscription link in my client?

First, check your current subscription in the user panel. Then open your client's subscription manager, find the imported VPNPT subscription and choose Update or Refresh. Once it's updated, select a route again and reconnect. Menu names vary by client. If the update fails, check that the link saved in the client matches the one shown in the panel. Don't mix old and new links.

Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?

You don't need to buy another plan just because you changed devices. VPNPT allows unlimited devices to be connected at the same time. Sign in to the user panel on your new device, retrieve your current subscription and import it into the appropriate client. You can disconnect the old device first to make it easier to check whether the new one connects successfully. Data usage is tracked by account, so installing another client doesn't create a separate allowance.

Which operating systems are supported?

VPNPT supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. In the user panel's download section, find a client for your operating system. Then sign in, retrieve your subscription and import it into the client. Installation steps for one system may not apply to another. If the menus don't match the instructions, check your operating system and client, then refer to the getting started guide.

Connection / Troubleshooting

Connection & Troubleshooting

Check each item in order: your network, client settings and subscription status.

The client says connected, but websites won't load. What should I do?

Try opening a few other websites to see whether the problem affects just one site or all traffic. Then switch to a route in a different region or of a different type, reconnect and reload the page. If that doesn't help, check the client's proxy mode, your system's network settings and whether the subscription is up to date. When you submit a support ticket, include your operating system, client and a description of the issue.

Why isn't a particular app using the proxy?

Your client's proxy mode may only route browser traffic, or it may use rules to decide which apps go through the proxy. Check the current mode and see whether the app is excluded by a rule. Then compare the results with another app that needs an international connection. Before changing modes, check the client's documentation to avoid disrupting access to local services. If you can't identify the cause, include your operating system, client, app name and current mode in a support ticket.

Why can't I see any routes after importing a subscription?

Return to the user panel and confirm that your plan and subscription are active. Then check that the imported information is complete. Some clients require you to refresh the subscription manually before routes appear. If the client reports a format error, don't keep editing characters in the link. Try importing it again using the getting started guide, and send the error message to support through a ticket.

What should I check if my connection keeps dropping?

First, check whether regular websites also disconnect when you're not connected, to rule out local network issues. Once your network is stable, update the subscription and test another route, or restart the client before reconnecting. If the issue only affects one app, check whether the current proxy rules include it. When reporting the problem, include the route region, when it occurs and any error message. This is more helpful than simply saying you can't connect.

I've updated my subscription but still connect to an old route. What should I do?

Updating a subscription and switching your active connection are separate steps. After the update, disconnect, select the route you want from the client's route list, then reconnect. If the list still shows old information, make sure you updated the VPNPT subscription you're currently using—not another configuration saved in the client. For cache or import issues, refer to your client's subscription management instructions.

Routes / Use Cases

Speed & Routes

Choose your target region first, then compare route types in the situations that matter to you.

How do I choose between IEPL, relay and direct routes?

Choose based on how you plan to use the connection, not just the route name. If you need a more consistent connection, try an IEPL route first. For everyday browsing, compare relay and direct routes in practice. Your experience also depends on your local network and the service you're accessing, so it may be worth testing different route types in the same region. Check which region the service requires before choosing a route type; this is usually quicker than trying routes at random.

How can I reduce video buffering during peak hours?

First, make sure the video service itself is accessible, then check whether your route's region meets the content requirements. If playback buffers during peak hours, switch to an IEPL route in the same region or try another available route. Reconnect before playing the video again. Also check whether your local network is handling large downloads at the same time. Comparing results on the same device and at the same time of day gives you a more useful picture.

How can I avoid interruptions when using AI tools?

Long conversations, streaming responses and persistent connections in developer tools all depend on a stable connection. Choose a region supported by the tool, then use one route for a real task. If a response stops partway through, try another route in the same region. Frequent automatic route changes can interrupt active sessions, so change one thing at a time while troubleshooting and note which connection works best.

The route region and the region shown by a website don't match. How can I troubleshoot this?

First, confirm that the client is connected to the route you selected, then reload the website. The region a site displays may also depend on your account details, browser cache or the site's own detection methods, so one label alone doesn't prove the route failed to switch. Check another website for comparison. If several services show the same result, submit a support ticket with the selected route and the region each service reports.

Which regions does VPNPT cover?

VPNPT offers 120+ countries / 250+ routes. Check the routes page and the latest list in your client for available regions and route types. Before choosing a route, check the region required by the website or service, then compare IEPL, relay and direct routes in practice. Coverage indicates the range of available options; it doesn't mean every website offers the same content in every region.

Plans / Refunds

Billing & Refunds

Check the plan term, data rules and refund process before choosing.

What monthly plans are available?

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Think about whether you'll mainly browse, work or stream video, then choose an allowance that suits your needs. Data resets monthly on your activation date. If your usage changes, check the available plans in the user panel rather than choosing based on the plan name alone.

When does monthly plan data reset?

Monthly plan data resets on your activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. When checking your remaining data, also review your plan status and billing period in the user panel so you don't mistake the calendar month for your plan cycle. If the figures don't look right, submit a support ticket with your plan name and the information shown in the panel so it can be checked.

What happens if I upgrade my plan partway through a billing period?

When you upgrade a monthly plan partway through its term, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan, remaining term and the upgrade details shown in the user panel, then confirm the change. Don't assume the new plan's listed price is the amount due or calculate it using a full month's price. If the displayed details don't match your expectations, ask support through a ticket first.

What's the difference between a data plan and a monthly subscription?

Monthly plan data resets on your activation date. Data packs last until they're used up and never expire. Available data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. If you use the service regularly and want a set amount of data each month, compare the monthly plans. If your usage is less predictable, consider a data pack. Choose based on your usage habits, not just the listed price.

How do I request a refund, and which payment methods are supported?

VPNPT offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and explain your request through the support ticket option. Keep your order details handy so they can be checked. Payments are accepted via Alipay / WeChat / USDT; check the payment page in the panel before placing an order. See the refund policy on the site for full details.
